Just to know a little bit more about us before you come :
The PARIS JEAN BOUIN CASG Field hockey club currently has nearly 300 members and ranks amongst the biggest clubs in France along with Lille HC and Saint Germain HC. The Hockey school has 200 children split into 8 categories (from mini hockey to junior). The 100 senior players are divided into 4 mens teams and there is one womens team.
These figures are growing as time goes on: as regards senior players, we are on the verge of being in a position to create a second womens team: come and join us now ! The men also would be pleased if they could play with another team. As regards the Hockey School, we are on the right track for strong development: the Hockey School is our future and we know it !
Who’s Who in Paris Jean Bouin CASG Hockey :
1) The Président: Jean-François Boyer, very nice guy and typical French grande gueule, likes buying people beers and shouting during matches
2) The Trésorier: Stéphane ChiriE also very nice guy except when he speaks about money, feels retirement from hockey is coming sooner and sooner as injuries come back : let’s pray for him
3) The Entraû‹eur: Erik Vreeman, a typical Dutch guy, also very nice, since he really appreciates France: in these hard times, this is a rare quality, too rare to be unnoticed. Erik is assisted by plenty of players : it is impossible to name everybody here
4) The Club Manager: GwénaE Sauvourel manages everything, from training
the first men's team to organizing competitions anywhere in or outside France.
He will also sell you all the hockey stuff you need.
5) The Animateur, Coach of second squad, Barde, Camelot etc. E Gildas Martin, if you have a soirée and you are worried about being bored, just bring him with you, he will wake evereybody up and shake up the dance floor
6) The Directeur Sportif: Julien Boyer, who is currently working on his hockey techniques in the first league in Holland
7) The Parents of the children of the Hockey School: Ghislaine Berthon, Hugh Elliott, Rémy Camous, Vincent Bichet, and all the others: they help a lot, each on his own way. Maybe you could do the same ?
8) The webmaster: Alexandre Vielle. As regards this web site, he hasn’t done too badly has he ?
9) And last but not least, The Arbitres: Christian Votte and Pierre Hayat, the unavoidable guys, because considering the way we are in France, it would be a real mess (in French, a “bordelE if we did not have an umpire to rule the game properly.
